RJS Life Care started the project “Umeed – E – Hayat” in January 2024which still continues. As is evident from its name, Umeed – E – Hayat i.e‘hope for life’ is designed for those hospitalized patients which are unable to bear the cost of the medicines and surgical items required for their treatment. Under this projectRJS Life Care providesthose medical articles which are not provided by the government. To deliver the required items prescribed request is generated by the head of concerned hospital unit. The evaluation committee of RJS Life care examines each case and once satisfied gives approval.

Purposes of the Umeed – E – Hayat

Overall, the purpose of “Umeed – E – Hayat is to alleviate suffering, improve access to healthcare services, and empower individuals to lead healthier lives, irrespective of their socioeconomic background or circumstances.

Achievements

To achieve the sustainable development goals, Goal-3, Goal-1, Goal-10, Goal-4, Goal-5 and Goal-17 under the project “Umeed – E – Hayat” RJS Life Care ishelpingthe deserving hospitalized patients.
